TSG Review
Frozen drink recipe book. I couldn't wait to get started!
I followed all the recipes exactly as written.
Frozen Godzillas
Pulled from the Deck section of the book this Midori flavored concoction turned out to be one of my favorites. If not for the Melon flavored liquor mixed with orange juice and lemonade, the maple bacon accompaniment the book recommends was a nice sweet and salt balance to the drink.
Icy Sidecar
From the Lounge section of the book I picked an icy version of the classic WWI drink. This drink has a ton of alcohol in it but because of the bitter orange flavor from the Cointreau and tang from the lemon it hides it well, so be careful, it goes down easy but it's a sledgehammer in disguise. The recipe even had a neat garish of sanding sugar on the rim.

Summary
With a few exceptions all the recipes make just two drinks making this a great book to share with somebody else or just drink them both yourself! There are 60 drink recipes with a good amount of variations but even then, most of them have just one step making these recipes really easy.
Place all ingredients in a large blender in the order listed. Cover and blend until a slush, stopping the machine as necessary to shake down the canister, less than 1 minute. Divide between two large glasses.
Many also have a snack or garnish recipes to go with a particular drink. There are some good tips on making the perfect frozen drink and it shows how to make homemade ingredients like grenadine and simple syrup. All the recipes I tried out were good enough that I would make them again and a few I already have. already have.
