Mushroom Toast
August 2, 2023Horseradish & Aged Cheddar Burger
August 22, 2023I saw that Arby's is now selling their sauces in grocery stores now so I put together a simple recipe clone you can do at home using your stovetop or your microwave. I recommend the thinnest roast beef you can find. The packaged ones, like Hillshire Farms, seem to replicate the Arby's sandwich pretty well. Arby's classic roast beef is thinly sliced and piled on a toasted sesame seed bun. Try it with our delicious Arby's Sauce®, or for an extra kick go with the zesty Horsey Sauce®.
Recipe
Ingredients
Directions
Microwave: In a microwave safe bowl add a sheet of paper towel and top with the roast beef. Microwave on high for 15 seconds at a time rotating roast beef in-between until hot. using a fresh paper towel blot off excess water .
Stove top: Add 1/2 inch of water to a pot with a fitted lid and set on high. Once the water starts boiling Place the roast beef into a strainer that is above the water boiling line. Put lid on and steam for about 30 seconds. using tongs flip and spread out the beef once or twice to heat it up evenly. Once hot, remove and blot off excess water with a paper towel.
While roast beef is heating up toast the cut side of the buns.
Once roast beef is ready add to the bottom toasted bun then top with the other half of the bun and Arby's Sauce® or Horsey Sauce®.
