August 29, 2020I recently visited Bainbridge Island across the sound from Seattle. There was this cute little diner called Streamliner that was one of the first places we stopped at after getting off the ferry. They had really good sandwiches and this amazing dressing that I had not had before. I asked our waitress if I could have the recipe and share it with all of you and after checking with the owner they obliged me! The original recipe makes about 8 cups of dressing so here is a more TSG version for home use.
Next time you go to Seattle cross the sound and check out this little island with it's fun shopping and this great little restaurant.
In a mixing bowl, add the garlic, lemon juice, vinegar, water, and tahini, then whip with a whisk until combined.
Continue whisking while adding the oil a little at a time so it emulsifies.
Whisk in the remaining ingredients, give it a taste and adjust them if needed. Use right away or up to a week.
