If you ask for a "Sex On The Beach" at a bar you get something with Peachtree schnapps in it. I prefer the Midori version better, it tastes more like an 80's throwback to the sweet, potent, Tiki drinks I love. I dig the Maroon color and the the bright fruity flavors. Sip this while listening to Cake by the Ocean and you'll get it.
If I am trying to be precise I like to measure all the liquids into a a two-cup, measuring cup with ounce lines first, and then pour that over the ice. Start with the cranberry juice then all the ounce ingredients.
Fill up a hurricane glass or highball with crushed ice. Add vodka, Midori, Chambord, pineapple juice, and top off with cranberry juice. Stir gently and serve with straws and a pineapple slice on the rim.
