July 21, 2014After working at the Ale Emporium I got hooked on their homemade creamy blue cheese dressing with blue cheese crumbles. The ultimate side for salad and wings. After attempting to to get Herman to give up the recipe many times and failing completely, I had no choice but to make a clone myself. After going through barrels of mayo and cheese I came up with a pretty good clone with the addition of green onions. If you are not an onion fan or you just want a plain dressing you can just leave them out--it's terrific that way too!
In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, water, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in blue cheese and green onions. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer to a sealed container and refrigerate for at least an hour. Will keep up to one week.
