They had the easiest and coolest recipe for making the perfect soft-boiled eggs every time. Start with a pot that is large enough to hold all the eggs you want to soft boil in a single layer. 1-6 is a good number. Add 1/2 inch water and bring to a boil on the stove top. Take the eggs straight out of the fridge and, using tongs, gently place them on the bottom of the pan and cover with a tight fitting lid. Continue to boil for 6:30 minutes exactly. Remove from the heat and rinse eggs with cold water for 30 seconds. Peel and eat. Hot soft boiled eggs with a liquid yolk and solid whites.
